Starting Kindergarten in a Pandemic

I didn’t like doing distance learning and then having to wear masks and shields at school. And I couldn’t hug my teacher because we didn’t want to get each other sick. But I’m so glad that I got to go to school.
I really liked meeting new friends and being able to meet them in real life. I liked that we got to see our teachers and we got to do so many other things, like play outside and do everything on campus. I made some new best friends, and we loved playing on the playground, sliding down the grass and catching fish at the koi pond.
