‘Ohana Koh Endowed Financial Aid Fund
Established in 2023 by Bong Koh and Jean Kim, the ʻOhana Koh Endowed Financial Aid Fund provides support for students at Punahou School who qualify for financial aid.
Financial aid was enormously important to both Jean and Bong in their educational journeys and they care deeply about providing access and opportunity to future generations. Jean has a background in healthcare investment and biotechnology, and has done extensive research and analysis on companies operating in the healthcare industry, with a particular focus on rare and orphan diseases. She earned a BA and BS from Stanford University, an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MS From the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Bong invests in biotechnology companies. He earned a BA from Yale University, an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MD from the University of California San Francisco, and did his medical training at Stanford and Harvard. Together with their children Maddie ’29, Charlie ’27 and Jackson ’34, while they are all avid skiers, they also find joy in being active together golfing, hiking and surfing.
