GIVING TO PUNAHOU 2023 - 2024

James ’43 and Juanita Wo Memorial Endowed Sustainability Fund

Mr. and Mrs. James Wo were neighbors of Carole Ann Lee who became her dear friends and mentors. More than once, Mr. Wo told her, “The community has been good to our furniture business. It is important to give back to the community.”
As a tribute to them, Carole Ann decided to create an endowed fund at Punahou. A mutual friend contacted Punahou School for her, and the James ’43 and Juanita Wo Memorial Endowed Sustainability Fund was created to benefit Punahou’s Junior School students. The James ’43 and Juanita Wo Memorial Endowed Sustainability Fund exists not only to remember and honor this wonderful couple, but also to thank them by following their lead in giving back to the community.
