Dara G. Jamieson ’73 and Ehud Lavi Endowed Financial Aid Fund
The Dara G. Jamieson ’73 and Ehud Lavi Endowed Financial Aid Fund was established in honor of Dara’s 50th Punahou reunion. This fund will provide support for students at Punahou School who qualify for financial aid and increase the availability of a Punahou education to a wide range of students.
Dara spent four years in Winnie Units and then, after attending schools on the East Coast and in London, she returned to Punahou in the upper school. Her parents and sister, as well as multiple relatives of both parents, also attended Punahou. She practiced neurology in Philadelphia and New York City for decades, and now divides her time between New York City, the San Francisco Bay area, and Honolulu.
After retiring from his academic neuropathology practice in Philadelphia and New York City, Udi, who grew up in Israel, always wanted to be in Hawai‘i. Before his death in 2023, Udi was always delighted to accompany Dara to any Punahou function and to help with organizing the Class of ’73 reunion. He was exceedingly impressed with the opportunities afforded by a Punahou education.
