Since its founding in 1841, Punahou School has educated students to become the next generation of leaders and innovators. Learn about our rich history, visionary leadership and guiding principles.
Last year, over 2,400 alumni, parents, employees, grandparents and friends participated in Giving Day! Their collective efforts inspired other donors, unlocked challenges for additional funding and raised over $600,000 for our students and programs in a single day. We’re counting on you to show your buff ’n blue spirit and participate with a gift to the Punahou Fund for this special day.
From dance to improv, Punahou students have the opportunity to express themselves, hone social-emotional skills, and find a sense of belonging through performing arts. Join us to explore how performing arts enrich the student experience, and learn how Punahou fosters creativity and self-expression. Gain valuable insights from student perspectives and discover the transformative power of performing arts in education.
The theme of our 2024 May Day Programs is Kuʻu Kulāiwi Aloha, my beloved homeland. The program is a tribute in honor of the Hawaiʻi we all love, and the many moʻolelo (stories), mele (songs), and compositions that recount the unparalleled beauty of our remote and revered island home.
