Alumni Week is June 6 – 12, 2022
Aloha, 1967 Classmates!
Come join us for our 55th Reunion in 2022 and relive “the magical days, the bright shining days, the beautiful days of your youth” to borrow from the incomparable Kui Lee. The passage of 55 years has transformed and improved us, chastened and humbled us, and made us hungry for creating deep relationships and leaving legacies. We hope to be together again, in person, Covid-willing, next June. Until then, we will keep you updated on activities, Class merchandise and upcoming deadlines.
Please mark June 6 – 12, 2022 on your calendar for Alumni Week on O‘ahu, with Alumni Lū‘au on Saturday, June 11. In addition, delicious events are planned by Big Island classmates from June 3 – 5, 2022.
Look for an email with instructions for submitting favorite photos for our all new ’67 slideshow and check for updates at
punahou67.eboard.com.
Reunion would not be complete without the opportunity to express our love and gratitude to Punahou through giving. We again will aspire to make a meaningful Reunion Class Gift of $1,967,000 with 67% participation. All your gifts to Punahou before June 30, 2022 will be included as part of our Class Gift.
We’re also proud to announce an opportunity to give to the newly established Tiger Tom Metcalf Financial Aid Fund, as our Class’s way of honoring our special dean. The fund will help Academy students with financial need, who “demonstrate a generosity of spirit and commitment to the Punahou community.”
Our gatherings will adhere to Hawai‘i’s regulations for large events and will include health and safety precautions. So, as we enter the next glorious days of the rest of our lives, plan to experience the renewal and fun offered by old friends and new at our 55th Reunion. You’ll be glad you did!
Mahalo,
Class of 1967 55th Reunion Committee
