Admissions Events

There are so many things that make Punahou a unique and special place. At the heart of all that we do is the people, our campus, and the intersection of both that allow us the benefit of providing a vast array of opportunities to our students. The Admissions team is eager to share our school with your family through a variety of in-person and online events. Attendance at our events are optional and do not impact the admissions decision.

Additional events will be added throughout the admissions season, please check back periodically for new events.

  • A Vision for Your Child’s Future:

    An Evening with Dr. Michael E. Latham, Punahou School’s President

    (Adults only, please)

    Please join us for an evening at the chapel for an opportunity to hear about the experience of a Punahou Education from Punahou President, Dr. Latham, Kindergarten – Grade 8 Principal, Dr. Chow-Hoy, Director of Enrollment Management, Maile Uohara, and an Academy student speaker.

  • Discover and Explore Punahou’s Kosasa Community

    (K – 5 applicants and adults welcome)

    Kindergarten – Grade 5 applicants and families are invited to visit the Kosasa Community, home to the Grades 2 – 5 classrooms, Kindergarten – Grade 8 library, design technology labs, and arts and music studios. Grades 4 and 5 applicants and families will have the opportunity to sign up for a guided tour by a student ambassador. Kindergarten – Grade 3 applicants will get a chance to participate in an art activity and visit with the animals in the lily pond.

  • Middle School Open House (Grades 6 – 8)

    (Applicants and adults welcome)

    We welcome you to join us at the Case Middle School campus for our Open House. Your family will have the opportunity to hear from Punahou President Dr. Latham and other notable speakers to learn about our curriculum, programs, and community. There will also be time to explore classrooms, visit a team space, meet and interact with various faculty members, current students and families.

  • Academy Open House (Grades 9 – 12)

    We welcome you to join us on campus at our Academy (Grades 9 – 12) Open House. Your family will have the opportunity to hear from Punahou President Dr. Latham and current students to learn about our curriculum and what student life is like on campus. There will also be time to do a self-guided tour and also meet faculty members, current students and parents.
