Design Thinking is a framework for developing practical and creative resolutions. The process is built on five basic steps – empathize, define, ideate, prototype and test. Students are taught to work through this process to create products or services that solve real-world problems.
The Design Process:
Empathize Feel or understand what another person is feeling or thinking.
Define Create clarity about the problem or need we are designing for.
Ideate Think of many possible solutions based on user's exact needs.
Prototype Test ideas quickly.
Test Bring prototypes to users to better understand the user.
