Flaming “P”

Punahou’s Flaming “P” ceremony is a tradition at Punahou celebrating school spirit. Enjoy an evening of great food, keiki activities, a pep rally and the lighting of a 20-foot tall “P” structure.
 
Event starts at 4 p.m.
Parking opens at 3:30 p.m.

This is a family event, current students, employees, alumni and
their families are welcome to attend. Show your school pride by wearing Buff and Blue.
Helpful Reminders:
  • Parking will be available from 3:30 p.m. on Lower Field. Please do not attempt to park on campus prior to 3:30 p.m.
  • Students in kindergarten – grade 5 must be supervised by parents/guardians at all times during this event. This is not a classroom event.
  • Loitering is not allowed at Omidyar Neighborhood, Kosasa Community, Case Middle School, the Academy Quad and Alexander Field.
  • Consider bringing a blanket or mat to sit on, umbrella and sunscreen. A flashlight and/or glowsticks helps when it gets dark.
  • Cash is needed for purchasing at concessions, merchandise booths, snack bar and chili dinner. Student IDs will be accepted for the Chili Dinner and at the Academy Snack Bar.
