Warren K.K. Luke ’62

Luke’s contributions to Punahou are varied and profound, and include service as a past Chairman and current member of the Punahou Board of Trustees.

As a member of the K.J. Luke family, he helped establish the Luke Center for Chinese Studies in 1993, and the Luke Center for Public Service, which opened its doors in April 2004, and helps create meaningful service opportunities for grades K – 12. He also supports the Student Global Leadership Institute, which brings rising high-school seniors to Punahou from around the world, with the goal of developing a community of international youth leaders who understand and are engaged in shared global challenges.

Luke is recognized for his service and business efforts for numerous organizations, some of which include: chairman, Dr. Sun Yat-sen Hawaii Foundation; trustee, The Plaza Club; trustee, The Foundation for Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies; chairman, Pacific and Asian Affairs Council; trustee, Honolulu Museum of Art; former director, The American Bankers Association; board of governors, American Red Cross National Board; trustee, The Appraisal Foundation; director, Land Use Research Foundation of Hawai‘i; and the Hawaii Business Roundtable Incorporated.
