An important dimension of child development is how children grow as spiritual beings, and yet spirituality is a dimension that we sometimes overlook. In this Parent Coffee hosted by K – 5 Chaplain Luana Uluave and K – 1 Counselor Lauli’a Ah Wong, attendees will have opportunities to privately reflect on their own beliefs and values and learn some new ways to share them with their children.
8:30 – 10 a.m.
Luke Center for Public Service, Lily Pond Room
This event is designed specifically for families with children in kindergarten – grade 5.
Parents will also learn more about the chapel “value of the month” program, and will receive tips about extending those lessons into everyday life to promote spiritual wellness and resilience in their children.
Kealoha Wong’s feature film explores diverse explanations for the origins of life, uniquely blending past & present, science & consciousness, and the environment & the arts.
This high-energy live show will feature Punahou School’s Writer-In-Residence Kealoha Wong ’95 alongside student poets selected from classroom sessions during his visits to campus.
